Project Amana aims at reducing the number of begging children in the communities of Tillaberi in Niger. With your assistance, the project is providing a safe environment with food, shelter and most importantly education to vulnerable children in our communities. In addition to conventional education, children are receiving training in various trades (Agriculture, Mechanics, Electronics, Electricity, Plumbing and Business).
From Errancy & Hardship
Many young begging children in our communities do not have the opportunity to learn the essential skills needed to become productive members of society.
To Formal Training & Education
We create continuing education programs to address the needs of the disadvantage youth in our communities. From basic education (reading, writing and mathematics) to learning a trade.
And Better Living Conditions
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
